The 3 Biggest Challenges
Growing DTC Brands Face.
Rising CAC, Flat CVR
Ad costs go up every quarter. Conversion rates stay where they were last year. The math gets worse every month, even when traffic looks the same — and most brands try to solve it by buying more traffic instead of converting more of the traffic they already have.
Data Everywhere, Answers Nowhere
You've got GA4, Shopify analytics, maybe a heatmap tool and an attribution platform — and somehow still no clear answer on what's actually killing your conversion. Dashboards full of numbers don't tell you which fix matters most.
No One Fully Owns Conversion
Designers make it look right. Devs make it work. Marketers send traffic. The conversion rate sits between all of them and gets owned by no one — which is exactly where most of the revenue leaks happen.
Why Our Approach Moves The Number When Others Don't
Every project pulls from a proven arsenal — the same CRO strategies, funnel structures, and conversion patterns powering the top DTC brands.
CRO-First, Not Design-First
Every page, section, and test traces back to a metric: conversion rate, AOV, or revenue per visitor. Pretty is a side effect of good CRO — never the starting point.
Built Mobile-First (Because That's Where The Money Is)
70%+ of DTC traffic is mobile. Most stores still design desktop-first and shrink down. I build mobile-first by default — load speed, tap targets, thumb zones, scroll behavior — all dialed for the device your buyers actually use.
Battle-Tested Across 60+ DTC Builds
I'm not starting from a blank canvas every project. Proven page structures, funnel patterns, and section templates — refined across 60+ DTC builds and adapted to your specific offer.
Message Matching: Ad → Page → Offer
The ad makes a promise. The page has to keep it. Most stores send paid traffic to a generic homepage or PDP and watch CR die. We match the ad's message to the landing page to the offer — so every click lands somewhere designed for that visitor, not the average one.
Positioning & Offer, Not Just Pixels
A great page selling a weak offer still loses. Often the bottleneck isn't the layout — it's how you're positioned against everyone else in the category, and whether the offer itself gives someone a reason to buy. We sharpen your positioning, your USP, and how the offer is framed.
Designed To Be Tested, Not Just Launched
Conversion isn't a one-shot project. Pages, sections, and funnels are built to be tested and iterated on — clean code, clear hierarchy, easy variants. We keep moving the number after launch, not just at it.
We Eliminate
Your Biggest Obstacle
Knowing Where To Start
We pull your analytics, traffic sources, and everything you've already tried, then map your full funnel end to end — so we start from data, not guesses.
We review every drop-off point — PDP, cart, checkout, navbar, post-purchase, and the landing pages your paid traffic hits — with heatmaps, session recordings, and funnel analysis. Every friction point gets documented.
We turn the findings into a ranked roadmap, sorted by impact, effort, and speed to ship. You see exactly what we're fixing and why — no vague "make it better."
We write clean, custom code straight into your Shopify theme — sections, landing pages, funnel work, whatever the audit calls for. No third-party page builders, no app-bloat.
We set up proper measurement and watch the metrics that matter — CR, AOV, RPV — so you know what actually worked, not just what looks busy.
We double down on winners, cut losers, and move to the next bottleneck — cycle after cycle. Conversion compounds; we keep it compounding.

Jose was exceptional to work with. He worked quickly and consistently, and gave me a ton of confidence about the success of my project. I'd absolutely work with him again — and recommend you do too.
We were hesitant to hire on Upwork for the first time. Jose was our first contact and right away was professional and attentive. Our project was complex and detailed — he went above and beyond. We already have future projects lined up for him.
Goes above and beyond. Very good at communicating and executing the job. Goes above and beyond to explain what he's done — even detailed video captures of completed work. Patient and personable. You won't be disappointed.
By far the best freelancer we've worked with And I've worked with several. Technically savvy, efficient, and a great communicator. He went above and beyond to help us end up with a great site. I'll only be working with him going forward.
Thorough and detailed — he knew how important it was to get everything bug-free before launch, and that's exactly what he delivered.
Hi Jose — yes, page looks great, thanks!

Frequently Asked Questions
Most engagements run 4–8 weeks depending on scope. Smaller scopes (audit-only, single landing page) can wrap in 1–2 weeks. I'll give you a real timeline before we start — not a hopeful one.
Most engagements are fixed-fee — defined scope, defined timeline, defined deliverables. Ongoing CRO work and open-ended retainers can be hourly. I'll quote whichever makes more sense based on what you actually need.
For new clients, yes. Upwork keeps payments, contracts, and reviews clean for both of us — and it's where my track record lives. Once we've worked together, we can move to direct contracts if that makes more sense.
Collaborator access with permissions for whatever scope we agree on — usually themes, apps, and sometimes orders/customers for advanced work. I never need your payment info or store owner login.
I'll tell you. If you don't have enough traffic to test, or the offer itself is the problem, throwing CRO work at it is wasted money. I'd rather lose a project than take on work that won't move your numbers.
Most projects are full-scope, but the components are modular — audit, landing page, custom build, etc. If you're not sure what you need, message me and we'll figure out the right starting point. Sometimes the answer is "start with the audit, expand from there."
Yes. A lot of my clients are international. Communication is async-friendly, and Upwork handles the cross-border payment side.
Ready to see what your store is actually capable of?
Send me a message on Upwork with a bit about your store. I'll get back to you within 24 hours, and we'll set up a quick call to talk through whether I can help — and exactly where I'd start.
Here's what happens next:
- Message me on Upwork — share your store and what you're working on
- I'll reply within 24 hours and we'll schedule a quick call
- On the call, I'll assess whether I can help and where I'd focus first
P.S. I keep my client roster small on purpose — I'd rather move the number for a few brands than be average for many. If you're serious about fixing your conversion, now's the time to reach out.
